Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of One Community Church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. One Community members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as setting up for church to overseeing our summer camp/mission trip. We feel that everything we do is a form of worship.
One Community Church is involved with Exit 0 because we feel that outreach and mission work can be done for those most in need of love and care right here in our community.  What better way to exemplify our Lord and Savior’s example than to give our time and resources feeding those who need it the most.  Not only feeding them our food but also feeding them our love through cheerful conversation and time spent together.  Jesus said it best in Matthew 5:34-36 ….‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ For information about this ministry please contact Daniel Tatum.

Worship through Prayer

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. One Community Church is a body of believers that believes in prayer. Throughout the week, we are praying for our pastors, our church members and their families, and any special requests that come up. If you are in need of a prayer or wish to have one of our pastors pray for someone or with you please reach out to us by submitting a prayer request online.

Worship through Music

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Whether it is helping to set up the sound equipment, singing special music or even playing in our band, these volunteers are an important part of the ministry of One Community Church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Worship through Greeting

The Greeters at One Community Church fills an important role. They are the first ones to meet those coming through our doors! They not only direct attendees to their seats, welcome visitors, answer questions and provide direction. The greeting team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life. Each Sunday Small Group (SSG) takes a day to fulfill this task.

Worship through Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of One Community Church. You can check out our recent sermons on our YouTube Channel to see all of our sermons or watch our services live on Wednesday night and Sunday mornings via the Livestream link at the top of the page.  We also maintain an active twitter and Facebook group page for additional church communication.

We are back in the building for Life Groups and Worship services! If you are not quite ready to gather yet, no problem. Email us at: pastoronecommunity@gmail.com or text us 502.609.4281 for the Links!

Student Ministries
Church is back! In house and in person for both small groups and worship services. If you or your parents are not quite ready to gather yet, no problem! We will continue to offer all of our classes and services on line as well. We will use Zoom for small groups and YouTube and Facebook Live for worship services. Sundays at 11AM and Wednesdays at 6:30PM.
2020 Camp Update
Unfortunately we got word on May 4, that our Generate Camp 2020 has been canceled. We were saddened by the news but not surprised. We had already been working on a backup plan. For those going to camp, you will get priority for our new local camp. There will be some spots available for new students wanting to attend this 6-12th Grade camp.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
Our children’s ministry is for all children in elementary school grades K-5. As of right now we are NOT having any children’s programming at One Community Church. Your kids are welcome to come but they will be staying with you during the services. We will provide them with activities (maybe even some candy) that will help keep them occupied during that time. We hope to reopen sometime in July. Stay tuned for more information.
Be sure and check out our YouTube page for the special kids messages!

When we started having services back in our church building May 17, we decided that the nursery would remain closed except to parents who need a place to change a diaper or quiet a crying baby. We do stream the service in that room so you will not miss a thing. We hope to reopen in mid July.
This is our newly remodeled Nursery where your newborn to 4 years of age will enjoy themselves during worship service as well as we offer a new class for potty trained to 4 years old.
